Students are seeking opportunities to work collaboratively and share different insights into communication and marketing. This course aims to increase students' awareness of how the skills and information learned at university apply to the real world outside of the classroom. As a result, we are seeking to facilitate student engagement with the public and private sectors during the students' time in the degree. These students are 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students in their beginning year of study. The virtual volunteer opportunity will prepare them better to gain exposure to real life communication and marketing problems in the workforce.

As a result, we are seeking to facilitate student engagement with the public and private sectors during the students’ time in the Art degree.
Volunteering: Web Design (Advanced)

Our students will work with members of the development team in your organization to revolutionize the customer experience in the industry. We are looking for partners to collaborate with to increase our students' engagement with the public and private sectors during the students' time in degree. Potential projects can be Extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, architecture and design patterns Clarify business requirements by working with business analysts and end users create high-level and detailed design specifications to address user goals; formulate plans – outlining steps required to develop programs for design deliverables • Participate in peer-reviewed requirements and design Estimate assigned work effort and be accountable for deliverables and completion dates Analyze, review and modify programs to increase operating efficiency • Follow and improve established software delivery lifecycles, programming standards and frameworks
Volunteering: Web Design (Beginner)

Students will work individually, interacting with you on a project to develop an informational website for your business or organization. The students will present and submit their work at several stages of development. The end result will be a working website that your business or organization can use. Student will: Present an overview of the proposed project Design and develop questions that will help to ascertain the true operating needs of your business or organization Apply the User-Centered Development Cycle to web development Create an aesthetically pleasing design for the user interfaces that serves to enhance the value of the systems functionality
Volunteering: Junior Project in Business Analysis
Computer Science
We are interested in partnering organizations that require business data analysis. Our students can help gather and process raw data, create spreadsheets with data and evaluating data for problem-solving activities. These students will work with your team in the organization, supporting report writing on any information collected.

Our collaboration aims to increase students' awareness of how the skills and information learned at university apply to the business world outside of the classroom. As a result, we are seeking to facilitate student engagement with the public and private sectors during the students' time in the degree. These students are 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students in their final year of study. The virtual volunteer opportunity will prepare them better to gain exposure to real life business problems in the workforce and have developed problem solving skills which can be applied to the identification of innovative solutions to account and financial problems.

Psychology Micro Work Integrated Learning Project

The Department of Psychology at Mount Royal University is seeking to increase our students’ awareness of how the skills and information learned at university apply to the world outside of the classroom. As a result, we are seeking to facilitate student engagement with the public and private sectors during the students’ time in the degree. The cohort consists primarily of students in the first term of their first year in the Bachelor of Arts: Psychology. Their knowledge of psychology will be developing throughout the term but can be expected to be rudimentary at the start of the term. Their skill sets will generally include Data search skills: the ability to search the internet, in particular, PscyINFO in a variety of situations. Communication Skills: The ability to communicate at a beginning level on a range of psychological topics. Computer Literacy and Information Retrieval: the ability to use a computerized database to find research and other information related to psychological topics.
